The Pro Xe Stage 2 Hybrid Turbo represents the highest-performance K04-064 hybrid turbocharger in the Pro Xe lineup, engineered for enthusiasts who demand maximum performance while retaining the factory K04 footprint.
Designed around an entirely revised rotating assembly, the Stage 2 is built to deliver substantially greater airflow, improved high-RPM efficiency, and significantly higher horsepower potential than conventional K04 hybrids. By upgrading both the compressor and turbine assemblies while extensively reworking the factory housings, the Stage 2 unlocks the maximum performance available from the K04-064 platform.
Unlike many hybrid turbochargers that focus solely on compressor size, the Pro Xe Stage 2 addresses both sides of the turbocharger. Increased compressor flow is only beneficial when the turbine can efficiently process the additional exhaust volume. By combining a larger compressor with a larger clipped turbine and extensive turbine housing modifications, the Stage 2 maintains efficiency deeper into the RPM range while reducing exhaust restriction and drive pressure.
HOW IS IT UPGRADED?
Every Stage 2 Hybrid Turbo is completely disassembled, inspected, machined, and rebuilt using upgraded OEM-quality components.
Each unit features:

• Enlarged turbine volute and throat area
• Maximum wastegate and outlet porting
• Oversized 9-blade extended tip billet compressor wheel
• Oversized clipped 9-blade cutback turbine wheel

The oversized extended tip billet compressor significantly increases airflow while maintaining excellent compressor efficiency across a broad operating range. The larger clipped 9-blade cutback turbine processes greater exhaust volume with reduced restriction, helping lower drive pressure and allowing the turbocharger to sustain airflow well into the upper RPM range.
Every turbocharger is high-speed VSR balanced to 150,000 RPM and thoroughly tested prior to shipment.

COMPATIBILITY

CORE INSPECTION POLICY
Customers wishing to have their existing turbocharger rebuilt or upgraded must contact Pro Xe Automotive before placing an order.
All customer-supplied turbochargers are inspected prior to approval for rebuilding or upgrading. This ensures the housings and core components meet our standards for restoration, reliability, and performance use.
For customers purchasing a hybrid turbocharger and returning their original core afterward, the same inspection procedure applies. Once approved, the applicable core refund will be issued.
