Before final assembly, every unit is fully disassembled, cleaned, inspected, resealed, and refreshed. All serviceable components within the rotating assembly are replaced, including bearings, thrust components, seals, and related wear items. Rotor condition, timing, and clearances are inspected to help ensure smooth operation and dependable long-term performance.

The factory SPA twincharged supercharger system is also commonly known for clutch and coil-related failures over time. When these components begin to wear or fail, the supercharger may not engage properly, resulting in reduced low-end torque, inconsistent boost response, drivability issues, or related fault codes. CORE INSPECTION & CORE DEPOSIT POLICY

Customers wishing to have their existing Volvo SPA 2.0T supercharger rebuilt or upgraded must contact Pro Xe Automotive before placing an order.

All customer-supplied superchargers are inspected prior to approval for rebuilding or upgrading. This inspection ensures the supercharger housing, rotors, gears, bearings, and other reusable components meet our standards for restoration, reliability, and performance use.

CORE DEPOSIT OPTION

Customers who do not wish to remove and send their original supercharger before receiving their upgraded unit may select the no core option at checkout, you must email us before to set this up.

With this option, Pro Xe Automotive will supply an upgraded supercharger first. After receiving and installing the upgraded unit, the customer may return their original supercharger to us for inspection.

When you are ready to return your core, Pro Xe Automotive will provide a return shipping label.

Once received, the returned supercharger will be inspected to confirm that it meets our core requirements. If the core is approved, the customer will receive a refund equal to the core deposit amount, less a $100 stocking and processing fee.

Cores with damaged or unusable housings, rotors, gears, mounting points, or other major components may be subject to a reduced refund or may be rejected entirely. Customers will be contacted if their core does not qualify for the full applicable refund.

Warranty Exclusions:

• Improper installation
• Oil starvation, improper lubrication, or contamination
• Foreign object damage
• Improper tuning
• Overspeed or operation beyond the intended limits of the supercharger
• Third-party modifications, disassembly, or repairs
• Damage caused by other engine or forced-induction system failures

If a warrantable defect is confirmed, Pro Xe Automotive will repair or replace the supercharger at our discretion.
